I’m a huge Charles Durning fan because of two movies: “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” and “The Muppet Movie”.  Though really he is great in everything he was in, but those two films kind of define him for me, so that’s that.

Gluten-free Double Chocolate Chip Cookies In A Jar

My sister is gluten, soy and dairy free and cookies can be hard to come by.  Even the ingredients to make your own are tough to find.  So I found this recipe and tried it out and it’s GREAT. Thumbs-up from my gluten-free coworkers and a little tweak in the chocolate-chip content (Enjoy Life makes gluten, soy, dairy, and 5 other allergen-free chips) and the butter (I forget who makes it but there is a soy-free vegan margerine) and these are perfect for the g/s/d allergic.  They’re also REALLY good just as cookies, which is also hard to find for gluten-free recipes due to the difficulties with gluten-free flour.
